Flor Nzala Ngindu


Flor commands 20 years of professional experience in the media and communication
industry. He started his career as a presenter at the Congolese National Television
(RTNC). After few years in print media, he joined a private television channel (Digital
Congo) respectively as a Broadcast journalist, producer, Chief editor and head of
information. During the presidential campaigns of 2006 and 2011, Flor has moderated
numerous debates of the various presidential candidates on television. In 2012, he
joined Perenco, a large multinational oil and gas organization, operating along the
west coast line of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the city of Moanda.
Perenco currently produces 22,000 barrels a day in DRC and Flor is currently the head
of communication and interacts with community liaison officials. In this capacity, he is
intensely involved in the implementation of several development projects (school
building, electricity and water supply, supply of agriculture equipment…) in the
Moanda region as part of Perenco corporate social investment activities. Flor holds a
degree in Public Relations from Institut Facultaire des Sciences de l’Information et de
la Communication (Kinshasa, DRC) and an International Master degree in Media
Management from Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Lille (France) in collaboration
with the Université Protestante du Congo (Kinshasa, DRC). He is currently chairman
of the board for the Ndjandja project.
